How to tell a real message from us
Criminals pretend to be companies their targets know. These are the rules we always follow, so a message that breaks one of them is not from us:
- We write only from an
@wispbinder.comaddress, todayalfrets@wispbinder.com. Not from Gmail, Outlook.com or similar, and not from a look-alike domain. - We never ask for your passwords, sign-in codes, client tax data or Social Security numbers.
- We never call you to connect to your computer and never ask you to install remote-access software. We do not take control of your computer.
- We never send the check script by email. Download it only from wispbinder.com/start and compare its SHA-256 hash with releases.json (see How it works).
- We only ask for payment by a PayPal invoice in the name WispBinder, after you have agreed to the price in writing. We never ask for gift cards, cryptocurrency, wire transfers or payment to a personal account.
If you are not sure a message is from us, do not reply to it and do not click its links. Write a new email to alfrets@wispbinder.com instead, and we will tell you. We are also glad to hear about anyone using our name.
